The idea for this business started back in the mid-eighties
when I started collecting catch-phrases and clichés. I
still have the original list in a big manila envelope.
Most of them were written on bar napkins, scrap pieces of paper
and being a carpenter, occasionally on pieces of wood.
There
was a time that I had a very atheistic, liberal mindset and
was anti-American and anti-God, which I guess goes with the
territory. When I met my wife, she was not much different
from me. I was out of control and, in many ways, so was
she. Then through what seems today, to be an act of Divine
intervention, she became pregnant and two years into our son’s
life there came a strange transformation in our hearts.
Through a chain of events, our outlook on life changed.
We have always been seekers - the type who question everything
- and we embarked on intellectual and spiritual journeys that
lead us to study our country’s history, the U.S. Constitution,
the legal system and finally the Bible. This opened our
eyes to the immense struggles our country went through to become
one of the greatest civilizations in history. In addition,
it also opened our eyes to see just how important the foundation
of a moral family truly is to a civilization and its longevity.
We
know that there are like-minded people out there who think similar
to the way we do and may be afraid to voice their displeasure
in today’s environment or just do not know how or where to start.
We hope that our designs will show others “That it’s not a about
Right and Left, it’s about Right and Wrong” and we are going
to take a stand for what’s right.
Well,
back to our story, after twelve years and lots of difficulties,
we have become God fearing, Country loving, Gun owning, Home-birthing,
Non-vaccinating, Family bedding, Health food eating, Home schooling,
Married Christian couple with four boys with a T-shirt business
that we hope will make a difference.
